What size is right for me?

Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles are hybrids, so genetics can vary from litter to litter or even from puppy to puppy. Because of this we can not guarantee size, however we can tell a lot about the future size of the pups based on their parents and our years of breeding experience.

The typical sizes are: Miniature Goldendoodles 18-40 pounds; Small Standard Goldendoodles 40-55 lbs; miniature Bernedoodles 18-40 lbs; and Medium standard Bernedoodles 45-75 pounds.

How do I get on your waitlist?

We have you begin by completing and returning your lifestyle questionnaire, which gives us a better feel for your life and home and helps us to ensure you will be a good fit for one of our puppies. We will contact you directly to discuss any questions about your questionnaire. Once you are approved we have you sign and return our purchase contract and pay a $500 deposit. Once your deposit is received your reservation is secured and you are assigned a waitlist number based on when your deposit was received. You then continue to move up our waitlist until a puppy is available for you. You choose from available puppies based on your number i.e. if you’re #5 and we have 8 puppies you will have 4 puppies to choose from.

How much are your puppies?

Miniature Goldendoodles: $3500

Standard Goldendoodle puppies: $3,000.

Miniature Bernedoodles: $3500

Medium-Standard Bernedoodles: $3500

What’s the difference between F1 and F1b?

What does the “F” mean?

Every doodle generation begins with the letter F. This F stands for “Filial Hybrid.” All this means is that it is a hybrid dog that came from from two purebred dogs.

What does the number mean?

The number is the generation of the dog. 1 means first generation, 2 means second generation, 3 means third generation, etc.

What does the “B” mean?

Some doodle generations have a “B” at the end of them which indicates that it is a backcross. A backcross is a fancy term for breeding the current Goldendoodle generation back to a purebred Poodle.

In summary- an F1 goldendoodle is 50% golden retriever and 50% poodle. An F1b is an F1 goldendoodle bred back to a purebred poodle, making the offspring 75% poodle and 25% golden retriever.

Two F1 goldendoodles bred to each other produce F2 offspring. Two F1b goldendoodles bred to each other produce what is known as “Multi-gen” doodles. We generally only breed F1 and F1b doodles.

I live on a different island, how do I get my puppy?

Though you are very welcome to travel to the Big Island to pick up your puppy, we understand this is not an option for everyone. We offer easy and inexpensive inter-island shipping using Aloha Air Cargo. We provide this service at cost for $100 and take care of all the arrangements for you. You just pick your puppy up at the airport facility at the appointed day and time. We cover the cost of shipping for military families and veterans! If you live on Maui or Kauai there is an additional fee for a kennel (Usaually about $130) that you get to keep. We of not cover this additional expense for military/veterans. For Oahu our kennels are used for the transportation and returned to us. Shipping costs to other states/countries varies based on where you are located, and we can make these arrangements and walk you through the entire process to get your puppy to you!

Can I specifically reserve a male/female or a particular color puppy?

You will have the choice of all the puppies available for your waitlist spot. At that time you may choose your color/gender. If you do not choose one of the available puppies you may always transfer your deposit to a future litter of your choice.

Is my deposit refundable?

$200 of your deposit is held as non-refundable. The balance can be refunded at any time before the final payment is made for your pup

When is the balance for my puppy due?

The balance for your puppy is due when you select your puppy, usually around 6-7 weeks of age.

When do I choose my puppy?

Puppy selections begin when the litter is 6 weeks old. We do not allow selections before that time because we work to match each puppy with the right home, and you can not reliably gauge their personalities before that time.

Can I choose my puppy in person?

Yes! If you live on the Big Island or would like to travel here you are very welcome to visit the farm and choose your puppy in person and we would love to meet you! Due to overwhelming demand, we are only able to schedule tours for people who are choosing their pups.

What if I cannot make it to the farm to choose my puppy in person?

Not to worry! We help you make your selection digitally by taking profile pictures of each puppy and sending you a few short videos of the puppies you are selecting from. We narrate in these videos what we have observed about their personalities. Then we work together to narrow down your choice and help you pick the pup that is perfect for you.

How old will my puppy be when he/she comes home?

Puppies come home any time after 8 weeks of age, when they receive their vet health certification and first vaccinations.

What is included with the cost of a puppy?

Our puppies receive complete deworming at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, and will be sent home with a 10 week dose. Each puppy will come home with a vet health exam and certification, and first set of shots. We offer a thorough health guarantee that is outlined in our purchase contract, and your puppy comes home with 30 days of free Trupanion pet insurance. We also offer breeder support for the lifetime of your dog. We are always available to answer and help with any questions around healthcare, grooming, nutrition, training etc.
